HIV/AIDS ACTION READERS aim to promote good health practices through extensive reading. They are designed to help young people to develop the knowledge, attitudes, self-esteem and skills needed to manage their rela-tionships safely and happily, and to cope better with the crisis of HIV and AIDS.

The readers are suitable for use across the curriculum: in literacy, social studies, and science classes as well as in after-school and community clubs.

Graded into three language levels.

All books use a learner-centred and interactive approach to story and information. Books include teacher's notes and suggested activities.
